President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed about telephone conversations with US President Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, which were devoted to issues of peaceful settlement. The head of state wrote about this on his Facebook.
According to Zelenskyy, the communication was constructive. He emphasized that the work on achieving peace for Ukraine continues continuously and is focused on the practical implementation of all agreed documents and steps.
“We discussed some essential details of the work. There are good ideas that can work for a common result and lasting peace. Real security, real recovery, real peace are what all of us need in Ukraine, in the United States, in Europe and each of the partners who help us. I hope that these Christmas agreements of ours today and the ideas that we discussed will be useful”, – emphasized the President of Ukraine.
It is also noted that Rustem Umerov, Andriy Hnatov, Andriy Sybiga, Serhiy Kyslytsia, Ihor Brusylo and Oleksandr Bevz joined the conversation.
