10 people died as a result of shelling in Kharkiv region
Fighting in the Kharkiv direction continues. The city of Kharkiv and the border areas of the region are subjected to constant shelling. As a result of today’s shelling, 16 civilians were injured in the Kharkiv district, five of them died. There are also casualties in the Kupyan district.
“As a result of shelling on a civilian object, 16 people were injured. 5 people died. Among the injured is an 8-year-old child with minor injuries. 8 injured are in a serious condition. Emergency workers were also injured – a paramedic, a driver,” said the head of Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
The Kupyan district was also shelled by rocket salvo systems. Five civilians were killed.
“Five civilians were killed and nine were injured as a result of anti-aircraft fire on the villages of Novoosynove and the village of Kivsharivka. Men aged 64, 65 and 58, as well as two women aged 56 and 72, were injured. Five men and four women. They are provided with medical assistance,” Synegubov said.
Meanwhile, a third line of defense is being built near the front. The construction of fortifications continues, despite the fact that Russian shells in some places prevent the completion of the construction of the third line.
“The fact that there is a part of unfinished fortifications is exceptional because there is constant shelling there and it is extremely dangerous to carry out work there. We have already had people die on these works. 4 dead and more than 15 injured. More than 30 units of large special construction equipment were destroyed in the amount of over 30 million hryvnias, but the work is ongoing,” the chairman noted
