Last year, about 2,000 children rested in the Carpathians at state expense. The money was allocated to the parents as part of the “eOzdorovanie” program. The initiative will work this year as well. However, not everyone can use the benefit.
The program provides payments for the rehabilitation of the following groups of children:
- children with disabilities;
- children from low-income families;
- children from large families.
“The amount of payment for one child will be UAH 15,980 (five subsistence minimums for children aged 6-18). The cost of a child’s rehabilitation will depend on the category of the children’s rehabilitation and recreation facility,” – noted in Ministry of Social Policy.
Parents will receive a payment and can spend it only on a trip to the selected camp or sanatorium.
If last year it was possible to choose an establishment only for recreation in the Carpathians, then in 2024 the geography is much wider. The list of “eOzdorolenny” program includes camps and sanatoriums in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi regions and in Kyiv.
