60 children and their families were forced to leave their homes during the evacuation from the settlements of Bogodukhiv, Izyum and Kharkiv districts.

About this reported Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The largest number of families, 30, were evacuated from the Lipetsk community of the Kharkiv district. 4 children and their families were taken from the Borivska community, 26 from Dergachivska.

Evacuation of children and their families from dangerous areas of Kharkiv region continues. So far, it has been possible to remove 60 children from 47 settlements“, Oleg Sinegubov noted.

Evacuation measures were taken in order to ensure the safety of people in the conditions of active hostilities and the threat of enemy shelling.

Currently, there are still about 100 children from other border settlements, where forced evacuation has been announced.

On April 11, the Defense Council of the Kharkiv region adopted a decision on the forced evacuation of families with children in 47 front-line settlements of Dergachivska, Zolochivska, Lypetska and Borivska communities. These are the settlements of the Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv and Izyum districts close to the border with the Russian Federation.
