A deferral has been added to Reserve+ for parents raising a child on their own

The Ministry of Defense expanded the list of categories that can apply for a deferment from mobilization through the Reserve+ application. Now, mothers and fathers who are raising a child under 18 years of age alone in the event of the death of the other parent or the deprivation of his parental rights can apply online.

To receive a deferment, you need to submit a request in the Reserve+ application. The system will automatically check the availability of grounds in state registers, and if the data is confirmed, the deferment is granted without additional user action. Information about this immediately appears in the electronic military document. The process is fully automated, lasts from several minutes to several hours and does not require collecting certificates or visiting the CCC. Thanks to this, decisions are made transparently and without the risk of manipulation.

To obtain this type of deferral, the State Register of Civil Status Acts must contain up-to-date information about the child, as well as data on the death or loss of parental rights of the other parent. If this information is missing, you need to contact any convenient department of the State Civil Status Acts Service with the appropriate documents.

Thus, 10 types of online deferrals are currently available in the Reserve+ application. They can be issued by people with disabilities, temporarily unfit for service, parents of children with disabilities, spouses of persons with disabilities, military men and women with children, parents of three or more children in one marriage, students, postgraduates, employees of higher and vocational education, as well as those who are raising a child under 18 on their own.
