A man who tried to cross the border with Romania disguised as a woman was detained by border guards
A 44-year-old resident of Zolotonosha, who tried to escape to Romania, disguised as a woman, was exposed by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment.
About this informs State Border Service of Ukraine.
The man, who, according to the DPSU, “armed himself” with his sister’s passport, an “unpretentious fashion look”, make-up and a wig, was detained near the border with Romania, near the “Predator” branch.
The “inventive traveler” tried to convince the border guards that he was a citizen of Ukraine by showing them his sister’s passport. However, his plan failed, because the border guards revealed his true identity.
At present, the detainee has been charged with an administrative offense under Article 204-1 of the Criminal Procedure Code “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”. The case was referred to the court.
