Ukrainian developers have created a universal remote control for ground combat robots

The Ukrainian company SkyLab, known for its Sirko drones, presented an innovative universal remote control designed to work with various robotic platforms.

Initially, the remote control was developed for the purpose of controlling the ground robot Sirko-S1, but in the process of work, engineers were able to significantly expand its functionality. By in words According to Yevhen Rvachev, an engineer and entrepreneur of SkyLab, the new remote control is compatible with many other robotic complexes, which opens up wide prospects for its use.

The uniqueness of the remote also lies in the use of advanced 3D printing technologies. Initially, the FDM method was used to create the case, but later the team switched to SLS printing, which allowed for a stronger and more aesthetic result.

Yevhen Rvachev emphasized that this console is the embodiment of the desire for innovation and the creation of world-changing technologies. Although it was developed for the UGV Sirko-S1, the remote control will find its application in many other fields, including industry, agriculture and rescue operations.

Recently, at the international exhibition Eurosatory 2024, Ukraine presented a kamikaze drone “Bulava” with artificial intelligence, capable of reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h and staying in the air for more than 50 minutes.
