The Chervonozavod district court of Kharkiv sentenced a 47-year-old resident of Kupyan district, finding him guilty of evading conscription for military service during mobilization. The man deliberately ignored the received summons and did not show up at the territorial recruitment center.

“Prosecutors proved that in January of this year, a resident of the village of Kindrashivka, Kupyan district, being conscripted and fit for military service, after receiving a summons, without good reason, did not appear at the specified time at the district territorial center of recruitment and social support for further passing the service“, the message says.
The court, taking into account the admission of guilt and the absence of aggravating circumstances, sentenced the man to 3 years of imprisonment. The verdict has already entered into force.
