The Ministry of Veterans Affairs presented a single digital platform for veterans and their families — “Veteran Pro”.
“Now everything important for veterans is in one place. You no longer need to search for information about benefits, programs, or assistance on dozens of websites, it’s all here veteranpro.gov.ua”, – the ministry’s statement says.
To use the portal, you need to go to the website veteranpro.gov.ua, select your status (veteran, person with a disability as a result of war, family member of a deceased person), familiarize yourself with the available programs, services and step-by-step instructions, and then receive the service online or contact a support specialist.
The ministry noted that the “Veteran Pro” platform was created for veterans, people with disabilities as a result of war, families of deceased defenders, support specialists, representatives of local authorities and veteran organizations.
“Veteran Pro unites all state programs, services and services that were previously scattered. You choose your status – and the system automatically forms a personal route: from receiving documents to studying, working, treatment or opening your own business, ”, – the department added.
On the platform, you can find information on various areas of support: health and recovery (treatment, prosthetics, dentistry, rehabilitation, psychological assistance); social protection and financial support (social services, payments, pensions, adaptation); housing and infrastructure (housing programs, land plots, car provision); transport and communal benefits (preferential travel, discounts on communal services, car insurance); documents and status (issuance of a certificate, renewal or renewal of documents); education and work (employment, retraining, training programs, vouchers); tax and administrative benefits (tax exemption, benefits for budget payments); sports (veteran competitions and sporting events); grants and business support (financing, microgrants, business communities).
The department announced that even more useful information will soon appear on the platform, an AI chatbot will work for quick consultations, regional programs with unique opportunities for each region will be available, as well as a catalog of business discounts and partnership offers.
