On Monday, October 28, the founder of the construction corporation KADORR Group, Adnan Kivan, who was one of the largest developers in Odessa, passed away. About his death reported on the official KADORR Group Facebook page.
“With a prayer on our lips, we see him off, because he did not divide people, but united and believed that God’s will is for everything. A reliable support, faithful support and the highest value for Adnan Kivan was his family“, the company said in a statement.
Although the cause of death is not specified, it is known that Adnan Kivan was battling cancer. He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Kivan was included in the list of “100 richest Ukrainians” and ranked among the largest rentiers of Ukraine. According to Forbes, in 2021 his fortune was estimated at $240 million. The Kivan family owns more than 40 residential complexes in Odesa and Kyiv, as well as the agrarian company “Zerno Agro”.
In the local business and political arena, Kivan was considered one of the main opponents of Odesa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
