During the year, 368 unscheduled inspections were conducted, of which 331 recorded non-compliance with legislative requirements in the field of tariff formation. As a result of the control, 221 decisions were made to apply administrative and economic sanctions for a total of 4.4 million hryvnias, and 229 orders were issued with a requirement to eliminate violations and bring tariffs into line with the law.
73 officials were held administratively liable, the total amount of fines imposed amounted to 154.7 thousand hryvnias. Special attention was paid to the restoration of consumer rights: within the framework of the recalculations carried out under the decisions of 2025 and previous periods, 53.5 million hryvnias were returned to citizens. In addition, 7.3 million hryvnias in penalties were received by the state budget.
The control work also included the participation of specialists in reviewing the calculations of planned tariffs together with local governments. This interaction made it possible to reduce the level of planned and approved tariffs and prevent unjustified charges for consumers in the amount of 9.6 million hryvnias annually.
