Almost UAH 1.5 billion has been allocated to pay salaries within the ‘Army of Restoration’
Since the start of the Recovery Army project in Ukraine, more than 183,000 unemployed people have been engaged in socially useful work, with UAH 1.486 billion allocated to pay for it. This was reported by the State Employment Service on its Telegram channel.
According to the agency, as of 30 September 2024, 183,940 referrals for community service have been issued since the project started on 1 October 2022. The largest number of referrals was issued in Kharkiv region – 28,870.
Donetsk (21,907 referrals), Chernihiv (20,184), Kyiv (20,122) and Poltava (19,343) regions are also among the regions with the largest number of unemployed people involved.
In total, the Recovery Army project has covered 19 regions of Ukraine, and UAH 1.486 billion has already been allocated to pay salaries to project participants.
The payment for a full month of community service is UAH 12,000.
In addition, in July 2024, the state paid UAH 37.7 million to businesses for the employment of people with disabilities, internally displaced persons and the creation of inclusive jobs.
