Residents of Zaporozhye were urged to limit gas consumption after the strikes of the Russian Federation

Residents of Zaporozhye and the region were urged to limit the use of natural gas after massive shelling by the Russian Federation. This is reported by the press service of Zaporizhiagaz.

“In connection with the damage to gas facilities as a result of enemy shelling, it is extremely important to temporarily limit the consumption of natural gas. Please keep gas appliances to a minimum until the emergency work is completed”, – noted in “Zaporizhgaz”.

The company explained that such a step is necessary to stabilize the pressure in the system and prevent blackouts.

“Please understand the situation. We will inform you about the restoration of stable gas supply additionally, – added in the company.

On the night of October 10, Zaporozhye was subjected to massive attacks by Russian troops for more than six hours. Private houses and infrastructure facilities came under shelling, as a result of which several fires broke out. As reported OVA head Ivan Fedorov, a seven-year-old boy was seriously injured as a result of the blows, who later died in the hospital. Two more people were injured, doctors assess their condition as serious.
