“Angels of Azov” expressed misunderstanding due to “Azov” creating its own patronage service
In the 12th brigade of the “Azov” National Guard, a new service was created to support soldiers, in particular for their treatment, rehabilitation and social adaptation. However, this decision caused surprise in the “Angels of Azov” organization, which has been engaged in similar work since 2014 and actively supports the “Azov” military.
On page of the newly created “Azov Support” service, it was reported that they will provide comprehensive assistance at all stages of treatment and rehabilitation, provide psychological support, help with socialization, and ensure the burial of fallen heroes.
At the same time, “Angels of Azov”, learning about the creation of a new structure from social networks and rumors, stated, who feel “deep shock”.
“It was we who voted for the resolution on the launch of such services as part of the units. Although we worked for many years without registration in the state, without any laws and guarantees”, the organization emphasized.
Over the past 2.5 years, the organization has helped more than 2,000 Azov soldiers with treatment, hundreds more have received prosthetics, and more than 1,500 soldiers have undergone rehabilitation.
“We are not going to stop our work. We will not transfer fighters from specialized rehabilitation centers to district polyclinics, we will not leave court processes unfinished in the interests of families, and we will not stop providing material assistance.”– emphasized the representatives of the organization.
“Angels of Azov” also confirmed that they will continue to help the fighters of the “Azov” NSU brigade, the Third Separate Assault Brigade and other units created by “Azov” veterans and representatives of the “Azov Movement”.
