Beta testing of the online deferral function has started in ‘Reserve+’
The Ministry of Defence has launched a beta test of a new online deferment function in the Reserve+ application. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defence Kateryna Chernogorenko.
According to her, the first to join the testing will be students and postgraduates who have already filled out the application form. After that, people with disabilities and large families will have access to the service.
‘We are doing everything gradually. This time, we are not sending any pushes, so expect instructions in your emails,’ Chernogorenko said.
She also explained that those who already have a deferred payment will be able to extend it only after it expires, as the system does not allow two active deferred payments at the same time.
‘However, we are grateful to those who already have a deferral and are also testing the service. After all, we need to check how the service is displayed for different categories of citizens. (…) If you have not managed to register for testing, do not worry. There are only a few days left before the service is launched,’ she added.
Chernogorenko also urged all test participants to actively share their feedback, stressing that their contribution is important for the digitalisation of military registration.
As a reminder, in October, the Reserve+ app introduced a recruitment function that allows Ukrainians to find the best vacancies in military units by choosing the right unit and speciality. Applications for contract service can be submitted electronically through the Diia portal and the mobile application of the same name.
To launch this service, the Cabinet of Ministers supported the proposal of the Ministry of Digital Transformation to implement a pilot project of electronic recruitment of Ukrainian citizens.
