Booked media workers can travel abroad on business trips: State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said that media persons with reservations from mobilization have the right to travel abroad in the event of a business trip. That’s what he’s about stated on the air of the telethon.
Demchenko noted that currently many media representatives have reservations about mobilization. They can cross the border if their business trip is officially registered by the editorial office.
“We cannot receive these instructions from the Ministry of Culture. This is the decision of the Ministry of Culture. And I advise you to contact them with what they argue that there is a reason to normalize the norm of the possibility of crossing the border for journalists or artists.” – noted the spokesperson of the State Security Service.
We would like to remind you that from March 3, 2025 and until the normative and legal settlement of the issue, the Ministry of Culture suspends the issuance of letters of assistance to the State Border Service for the departure of conscripted artists and media persons abroad.
