After the rocket attack on Kharkiv, fragments of the body of the fourth deceased were found under the rubble

The number of deaths in Kharkiv has increased as a result of a missile strike by Russian troops on a residential area in the Kyiv district. According to the city authorities, the impact of two Iskander-M ballistic missiles resulted in the death of four people.

The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, citing data from the city’s Situation Center, reported at 1:47 a.m. that rescuers had found fragments of the body of another person at the site of the explosions under the rubble of a building.

Up until now, the deaths of two people had been officially confirmed – a 22-year-old woman and her three-year-old son.

The city hall noted that emergency rescue and search operations at the site of the destroyed buildings were continuing.

Earlier, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that up to five people could remain under the rubble, who were probably in the office center at the time of the attack. The fate of at least two of them, according to preliminary data, has already become tragic.
