Circuses are given the status of critical importance for the economy: workers receive deferments from mobilization

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine officially recognized Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa and

Lviv circuses, as well as the Mobile and National Circuses of Ukraine and the “State Circus Company of Ukraine” are enterprises that are critically important for the economy and the life of the population.

Appropriate the orders are published on the website of the Ministry of Culture. This decision guarantees employees of these institutions postponement of mobilization for the period of martial law.

In addition to circus groups, the following received the status of critical importance:

• Ensemble “Hutsulia”
• National Opera of Ukraine
• Lviv National Opera
• National Choir named after H.G. ropes
• National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine

This recognition testifies to the important role of circuses and other cultural institutions in maintaining the fighting spirit of Ukrainians and preserving the country’s cultural heritage during the war.
