Defense forces of Ukraine struck the Saratovorgsintez JSC oil refinery located in the Saratov region of Russia. About this reported General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“As part of the reduction of the enemy’s offensive capabilities, today units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted damage on the territory of the JSC Saratovorgsintez oil refinery in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation”, the message says.
According to the General Staff, this facility is used by the Russian military to supply fuel and lubricants to units participating in the war against Ukraine.
“A hit on the territory of the object was confirmed – in particular, technological installations were damaged. A fire broke out. The results of the damage are being clarified. The defense forces continue to take measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.” – clarified in the General Staff.
We will remind, on the night of June 23, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, together with the Missile Forces and artillery, attacked the “Atlas Combine” oil depot in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
