Diia will have an AI assistant for receiving complaints from citizens
Diya will have an AI assistant in the first quarter of 2025 that will receive citizens’ complaints and forward them to the relevant state bodies. About this reported Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“We are working on having a specific assistant in Action that can use AI language, a specific AI agent that you can turn to if you have a problem when interacting with the state”, the message says.
Fedorov explained that users will be able to communicate with the assistant by voice, because it will be able to convert voice calls into text. Next, “Action” will determine which ministry is responsible for resolving the issue, and will redirect the appeal accordingly.
According to the minister, the voice assistant in “Diya” is expected in the first quarter of 2025:
“If we talk about artificial intelligence, here we also set out with a rather ambitious task. We set ourselves the goal of entering the TOP-3 countries in the world by 2030 in terms of the level of integration and implementation of AI solutions.”
