A drone hit a residential building in Odessa, damaging the facade and glazing of the high-rise building. As Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odessa OVA, reported on Telegram, 58 people were evacuated from the building, including – eight children.
“At night, the enemy again attacked the civilian population of the Odessa region with strike drones. The enemy drone hit between the 18th and 19th floors of the apartment building, without further detonation”, Kiper noted.
According to him, the impact also damaged cars parked nearby. Information about the victims is being clarified, work is underway to inspect the house and eliminate the consequences. All relevant services are working on the site, including rescuers, police and municipal services.
Emergency services are providing evacuees with temporary accommodation and providing necessary assistance. An assessment of the extent of damage is being carried out, as well as an inspection of the building structures for safe access for residents after the incident. Local authorities urge residents to follow safety measures and report any damage or casualties.
