Electronic booking for trucks will be tested at the border with Poland

The “e-Notification” system will be operational in test mode at the international automobile checkpoint “Dorohusk” from May 11 to 15, 2026. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

This is an electronic service that requires advance booking of the time and place of arrival of transport for border clearance when leaving Poland. The system is administered by the Customs and Tax Service of the Republic of Poland.

In fact, this means a transition to an orderly border crossing schedule for freight transport. It is expected that such a mechanism will help reduce queues and reduce the load on the checkpoint, but at the same time will add a new mandatory procedure for carriers.

Ukrainian international carriers and drivers are advised to take into account the test launch of the system when planning routes through the Yagodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint.

On April 10, 2026, the updated digital entry and exit control system EES went into operation at all external borders of the European Union.
