Every tenth case is fatal: a dangerous disease is attacking Europe
Pregnant women turned out to be the most vulnerable to complications, since they can have a miscarriage as a result of the disease.

A dangerous strain of smallpox has been recorded in European countries, which is actively spreading across the continent. This is stated in the material of the British edition The Sun.
It is known that the strain called Mroh is of Central African origin, but recently its cases have also been recorded in Europe.
As of now, more than 110 countries have faced this disease. Although the course of most cases is mild, the virus is still dangerous and kills one in ten infected people. The most vulnerable to complications were pregnant women, in whom the disease can cause miscarriages. Some patients complain of long-term problems affecting vision, skin and genitals.
Among the main signs of infection are purulent blisters, high fever, headache, muscle aches, chills, and enlarged lymph nodes. The appearance of symptoms is possible within 5-21 days after infection.
According to Rosamund Lewis, the World Health Organization’s technical director for chickenpox, it is now extremely important to find a solution to the outbreak. In particular, she insists on strengthening security and prevention measures.
