Face To Face Mission opens a recruitment of patients with facial injuries in Ukraine

American facial reconstructive surgeons will arrive in Ukraine in March 2026. This is the sixth Face To Face mission, jointly implemented by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), Razom for Ukraine, INgenius, and Healing the Childrens. For several weeks, doctors will perform free surgeries for Ukrainians who have suffered facial injuries as a result of the war, reports the Ministry of Health.

“If you, your relatives or acquaintances are potential patients to participate in the program, do not hesitate and send documents to the mission managers in Telegram/Viber/Whatsapp at + 38 093 781 43 04”, the message says.

The mission accepts patients with facial paresis (post-traumatic lesions of the facial nerve), damage or loss of facial bones, injuries to the eyelids and orbital walls, as well as with soft tissue deformities – in particular, the need for rhinoplasty or correction scars.

Both military personnel and civilians who have been injured as a result of combat operations can apply. To do this, you must provide scanned copies of medical records, photographs, and CT or MRI results. A team of doctors will carefully review all applications and notify applicants of the selection results. The surgeries will be performed free of charge for selected patients.
