From April 1, the electronic cabinet of the Military Medical Commission will be launched in Ukraine
From April 1, an electronic cabinet for military medical commissions will be operational in Ukraine, and all conclusions about fitness or unfitness for service will be drawn up exclusively in digital format. About this stated Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization, on the air of the telethon.
“From April 1, the Ministry of Defense is launching an electronic office for employees of military medical commissions. Now, after examinations of the VLK, conclusions are drawn up exclusively in electronic form in the medical information system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. – Chernogorenko explained.
She clarified that the innovation will avoid the need to personally submit resolutions regarding eligibility to the TCC, as the information will automatically enter the “Oberig” registry.
“As part of the second stage of the reform, we are launching anonymization, our citizens will undergo a medical examination at any civilian medical facility where it is convenient for a person. It will look like a regular check up for a person. There will be nothing superfluous and will not be connected either with a trip to the TCC or a trip to the VLK.” – noted the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense.
Medical data submitted to the Ministry of Defense will be processed in an anonymous format. According to Chernogorenko, the doctors who will check this data will not be able to establish the person in respect of whom the decision on suitability for military service is made. She also emphasized that digitalization of the process will reduce corruption risks and make the system more convenient for citizens.
