Google and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine are launching a free program for learning cloud technologies for students

Google, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, announced the launch of a new free training program called “Google Cloud for students: a sure career start”. This program is designed to train a new generation of specialists in the field of cloud technologies, contributing to the development of digital infrastructure and increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian students in the global labor market.

As part of this initiative, students will be able to access the Google Cloud Skills Boost platform for free, which offers training in six different areas. These courses will help students acquire the necessary skills to work with cloud technologies, which are becoming increasingly important in today’s economy.

The program includes the following areas of study:

1. Google Cloud Digital Leader: a basic course that provides general knowledge of Google Cloud technologies, especially useful for non-technical majors.
2. Google Cloud Engineering: a deep dive into cloud infrastructure with preparation for cloud engineer or DevOps engineer professions.
3. Google Cloud Data Analytics: specialization in data analysis and management in cloud environments.
4. Google Cloud Computing Foundations: the basics of cloud computing, providing students with technical knowledge and skills.
5. Google Cloud Cybersecurity: a course dedicated to protecting cloud systems from cyber threats.
6. Google Cloud GenAI: study of generative artificial intelligence and its practical application.

For educational institutions, the program provides the opportunity to integrate educational materials into their courses for free, as well as to receive technical support from Google. Students who complete their studies will receive certificates and will be able to participate in practical classes with leading Google experts and representatives of the Ukrainian IT sector.

This program has already been successfully tested in five leading universities of Ukraine and is ready for large-scale implementation in the 2024-2025 academic year.
