Hamas released the first seven Israeli hostages
On October 13, the Hamas group began the process of releasing Israeli hostages in accordance with the cease-fire agreements in the Gaza Strip. This is reported by “The Times of Israel”.
The first group of seven Israeli hostages has been handed over to the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip. The corresponding announcement, made by the speaker at Hostage Square, caused a loud ovation. The seven hostages include Hali and Ziv Berman, Matan Angrest, Alon Ohel, Omri Miran, Eitan Mohr and Guy Gilboa-Dallal.
Earlier it was reported that on October 13, the Hamas group plans to release 20 Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. The exchange is scheduled to start at 08:00 local time, which coincides with Kyiv time.
Prior to the exchange, Hamas released a list of 20 names of hostages that matched the Israeli data. Among them – Bar Kuperstein, Eviatar David, Yosef-Chaim Ohana, Segi Kalfon, Avinatan Or, Elkana Bohbot, Maxim Herkin, Nimrod Cohen, Matan Zangauker, David Kunio, Eitan Horn, Matan Angrest, Eitan Mohr, Hali Berman, Ziv Berman, Omri Miran, Alon Ohel, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Rom Braslabsky and Ariel Konio.
According to the militants, the second group of hostages may be released around 10:00 in Khan Yunis. They claim that the 20 freed Israelis will be exchanged for more than 1,900 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
