Hetmantsev assessed the consequences of the abolition of simplified taxation for Internet providers

1,398 natural persons-entrepreneurs, who provided fixed Internet services, canceled the simplified taxation system, while other sole proprietorships and legal entities switched to the new system voluntarily.
About this reported Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.
“Many people ask what happened to the infamous fixed-line Internet service providers that were broken up into FOPs. Everything is fine with them. Disasters, as usual, did not happen. And the tax situation has fundamentally changed.” – said the official.
According to him, in November of this year, VAT receipts increased by 15% compared to the average monthly indicators of 2024.
“It should be noted that, unfortunately, some shredders have not yet moved from the stage of bargaining to the stage of accepting the new reality and are still trying to accept money from consumers for services they did not provide, or split invoices from LLCs and FOPs (again for incomprehensible services) They think they have invented a new successful method of grinding that no one sees.” – emphasized Hetmantsev.
Such entrepreneurs are already faced with additional fines for fictitious activity, which is accompanied by violations that may be subject to criminal liability.
