How to properly communicate with veterans will be shown in the new series
With the support of the government in Ukraine, a new series was filmed – “People with war experience. Dignity. Interaction.” The serial documentary film product tells about the rules of correct communication with military men and veterans, in particular, with those who were disabled during hostilities and were in captivity.
“The series will help to understand the feelings experienced by people after returning home, will teach how to communicate with them correctly and listen to those who need to talk. Its characters are military personnel. They share their experience of communicating with civilians,” – reports Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
“People with experience of war. Dignity. Interaction” consists of 11 series. The series was created on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation within the communication campaign “How are you?” All-Ukrainian mental health programs.
“The hero of one of the episodes is Danylo Kravets, a soldier who was released from captivity. He is as open as possible in matters of war and can talk about his experiences if he is asked. At the same time, the boy emphasizes that the mere mention of captivity can be traumatic for someone, so it is important to be able to build the right communication,” the Ministry of Reintegration notes.
