A new function has appeared in the “Diya” mobile application: now photos and videos of the violations are added to the fines for traffic violations recorded automatically. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“Previously, fines were received only with text details, indicating the violation, time and place. Now, photos and videos have also been added to the application. Fines can be paid using card details, ApplePay or GooglePay”, says the message.
This helps drivers to clearly see the essence of the violation and eliminate any doubts about its validity. The presence of fines can be checked not only in the “Diya” application, but also through the web portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the “Diya” Portal, the Driver’s Office and the “Traffic Fines” application.
The service was made possible thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Center for Infrastructure and Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the State Enterprise “Infotech”.
Since the introduction of the system of automatic recording of traffic violations in Ukraine, which began its work four years ago, more than 10 million decisions have been issued. During this period, the amount of paid fines exceeded 2.1 billion hryvnias.
