In the Chernihiv region, armed men who kidnapped two mobilized were detained

In Chernihiv Oblast, two men introduced themselves as policemen and, threatening to use weapons to injure the bus passenger, took two mobilized people with them. During the special operation, the police of Chernihiv region together with the SBU detained the attackers. About this informs National Police of Ukraine.

“The police received a report from the military that in the Chernihiv district, the driver of an Audi car “cut off” a bus with military personnel on the road. Two young men in civilian clothes got out of the car, introduced themselves as policemen and showed their “identification cards.”

The men demanded that the senior group of servicemen hand over two conscripts to them. In case of refusal and attempts to resist, they threatened to open fire on the victim, and one of them kept his hand on the holster with a weapon. After taking the two men out of the bus, the attackers put them in their car and drove off in an unknown direction.”, says the message.

The investigation established that the suspects acted in a prior conspiracy with other persons, staging the detention of two mobilized men so that they would not arrive at the place of duty. For this “service” they received 5,000 dollars for each conscript.

As a result of the special operation, the law enforcement officers of the criminal investigation together with the investigators of the police of the Chernihiv region, with the support of the KORD special unit, established the whereabouts of the suspects in the Kyiv region.

Together with the SBU, pseudo-police officers were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. They turned out to be residents of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, born in 1990 and 2003. In addition, in accordance with the same article, one of the conscripts was detained, and the search for another is ongoing.
