“30,904 FOPs ceased their activities in the first 4 months of 2024. Despite this, twice as many new FOPs are registered – over 74,000 in the first quarter of this year. The most frequently closed FOPs operating in the field of retail trade are 10,773 (34.9%). Computer programming and wholesale trade also made it to the top three — 10.1% and 6.2%, respectively.”, – the message says.

The largest number of FOPs ceased their activities in:
- Kyiv: over 3.8 thousand (12.4%)
- Kharkiv region: almost 2.4 thousand (7.7%)
- Dnipropetrovsk region: almost 2.4 thousand (7.7%)
