The cost of the works amounted to 15 million hryvnias, which is 55% less than the expected amount. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Cleaning was carried out on a territory of 487 hectares in the Kyiv region, which belongs to the Institute of Potato Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. The UDS operator carried out work from October to the end of December last year.
78 sappers and 5 paramedics, as well as specialized equipment, were used for demining. During the work, 623 kg of ammunition remnants and other elements of war were removed.

As a result of the auction, in which five operators participated, the demining price was reduced by 17 million hryvnias. The cost of cleaning one hectare was 30.8 thousand hryvnias.
“In total, the Center for Humanitarian Demining has signed 47 agreements with operators to clear more than 9.5 thousand hectares of agricultural land,” – Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Ihor Bezkaravainy said.
