Kharkiv under heavy shelling again: the city is in danger every day
Today, on 1 November, Kharkiv was once again the target of massive shelling. A series of loud explosions occurred in different parts of the city at around 16:00, forcing residents to seek shelter. The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, urged Kharkiv residents to stay in safe places and not to leave their shelters as the danger continues to grow. The shelling continues, and there is no detailed information on the extent of the damage and the number of victims.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, a private house was hit, and multi-storey buildings were also damaged. Information about the victims is being established.
Kharkiv, which has been suffering from constant shelling since the first days of the war, is under the threat of new attacks every day. The shelling claims the lives of civilians, including children, causing irreparable pain to thousands of families. Residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and the city’s infrastructure are being destroyed, making life difficult for residents and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Despite the constant shelling, Kharkiv residents continue to stay in the city, supporting each other and following safety instructions. Today’s series of explosions have once again reminded us of the harsh conditions in which the city lives, which is constantly on the frontline in the fight for its right to live in peace.
