Kolomoisky lost almost 25% of his fortune in a year: Forbes

The fortune of the famous Ukrainian businessman Ihor Kolomoisky has significantly decreased over the past year, having decreased by 22% and now amounts to about 660 million dollars. About this informs edition of Forbes Ukraine, which analyzed the financial condition of the oligarch.

Back in February 2022, Forbes estimated Kolomoisky’s fortune at a significant $1.8 billion. However, by November of the same year, this amount had decreased by a billion, amounting to 850 million dollars. Experts attribute the reasons for this drop to global economic changes and sanctions that affected his business.

Kolomoisky owns numerous overseas assets, including a stake in 500,000 square meters of commercial real estate in Ohio, several steel mills in Kentucky, West Virginia and Michigan, and a cell phone manufacturing plant in Illinois. In addition, he owns real estate in Texas, which also forms a significant part of his assets.

Despite the significant reduction in wealth, Kolomoisky still owns a significant amount of liquid assets, in particular, his luxury yachts and airplanes remain in his possession. One of the most striking examples is the 90-meter superyacht Lauren L, which is valued at $97 million, which is actually equal to the value of the entire network of Privat gas stations, which is part of his assets.

At the same time, Kolomoisky remains in custody at least until October 25, although in one of his cases the court decided to change the preventive measure, allowing him to be released on bail in the amount of 1.8 billion hryvnias.
