Prosecutors of the Podil District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv reported the suspicion to five officials of the utility enterprise “SHEU for the repair and maintenance of roads and structures on them”, which work in Darnytskyi, Solomyanskyi, Holosiivskyi, Svyatoshynskyi and Desnyanskyi districts of the capital. Their suspect in the waste of funds of communal enterprises.
The investigation established that the suspects knew that some of their subordinates were actually carrying out repair work on Kyrylivska Street in the Podilsky district of Kyiv and were not present at the main place of work.
Despite this, the officials signed the time sheets, which certified that the employees worked simultaneously in their district and in Podilsk — for 8 hours a day at each facility. As a result of such actions, there was an overestimation of labor costs and the calculation of a single social contribution, which led to losses in the amount of about 1.6 million hryvnias.
The actions of the suspects are classified under part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 366 and part 4 of article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is about the introduction of knowingly false data into official documents, the embezzlement of property by abuse of official position, committed by a group of persons according to a prior conspiracy under martial law.
Suspects were received by the deputy head of the KP SHEU of Darnytskyi district, the acting head of the KP SHEU of Solomyanskyi district, as well as the heads of enterprises in Holosiivsk, Sviatoshynsk and Desnyansk districts.
