McDonald’s has started testing mobile ordering in Ukraine

On October 28, Ukrainian McDonald’s restaurants began testing a new service that allows ordering meals through the app and picking them up at the restaurant after cooking. As reported in the company’s press service, the “Mobile Order” service is currently available in four Kyiv restaurants.

Users can choose a restaurant, add dishes to the cart, pay for the order in the app, and determine the method of receipt — via McDrive, in the pick-up area, or with table service.

During the test phase, the service operates in four Kyiv McDonald’s restaurants — on Ye. Sverstyuk, Sofiyska, Hryshka, and Pravdy streets. After the tests are completed, the company plans to scale the service throughout Ukraine. The Mobile Order service is already available in many countries around the world, including the USA, Canada, Germany and the UK.

In the first six months of 2025, McDonald’s revenue in Ukraine amounted to almost UAH 10 billion, which is 27% more than in the same period of the previous year. In 2024, the chain’s establishments were visited by 103 million customers, which is 16% higher than in 2023.

In 2024, the company invested UAH 1.8 billion in the construction and modernization of restaurants, completing the installation of digital menu boards on McDrive and self-service terminals in all its establishments in Ukraine. As of October 2025, there were 117 McDonald’s restaurants operating in Ukraine, 50 of which were in the capital.
