Microsoft will help Ukraine modernize statistics using AI
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine and Microsoft have signed a Memorandum on the digital transformation of statistics. The first joint projects with artificial intelligence should appear in the fall of 2025. This was reported by the press service of the State Statistics Service.
The document provides for the modernization of statistical infrastructure, the creation of unified data platforms, the implementation of cloud solutions and the use of artificial intelligence tools.
Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Service Artem Rudko noted that new technologies will help make official statistics more accessible and convenient:
“Today is the time for innovation. Using Microsoft solutions will help modernize the infrastructure and make statistics more convenient, transparent and understandable for business, the state and citizens.
General Director of Microsoft Ukraine Leonid Polupan emphasized that digital solutions should strengthen trust in government data:
“Data – is the basis of transparency and trust. A strong statistical system helps business navigate, the state – make decisions, and society – develop”.
Head of Government Projects at Microsoft Ukraine Yevhen Kaganovsky added that the transformation of statistics should be fast and convenient for users:
“We strive for Ukrainian statistics to set trends and be an example of the successful implementation of modern technologies”.
