Mobilized military personnel can now apply for a “eOselya” mortgage at 3%

Mobilized Ukrainian military personnel were given the opportunity to use the state affordable mortgage program “eOselya” on updated terms. As reports the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, now both contract military personnel and mobilized personnel can apply for a mortgage loan at a rate of 3% per annum.

“The affordable mortgage “eOselya” has already helped 21,864 Ukrainian families purchase their own housing. The total amount of loans issued reaches UAH 37.4 billion. In particular, housing under the program was purchased by 6,438 contract military personnel and veterans”, – informs the Ministry.

Previously, only doctors, teachers, scientists, contract soldiers and law enforcement officers could receive 3% per annum, while mobilized people were offered loans at 7%. The new changes allow them to buy housing on the same preferential terms.

The program also sets restrictions on the maximum area of housing. For apartments, the upper limit is – 115.5 m², for houses – 125.5 m², regardless of the number of family members.

“We have updated the terms of the “e-Housing” program to provide support to our military personnel who were called up during mobilization. This will increase the number of program participants and at the same time stimulate the development of the construction industry,” – emphasized the Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev.

The “e-Housing” program is part of the “Made in Ukraine” policy, aimed at developing domestic production and demand for Ukrainian goods. It is implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and PJSC “Ukrfinzhytlo”. The partner banks of the program are “Oschadbank”, “PrivatBank”, “Ukrgasbank”, “Globus Bank”, Sky Bank, Sense Bank, “Bank Credit Dnipro”, TASKOMBANK, BISBANK and “Radabank”.
