The Accounting Chamber has started an audit of the development of defense technologies of Ukraine
The Accounts Chamber has launched a performance audit on the topic of “Development of innovations and technologies for defense needs during martial law”. This was reported on the website of the Accounting Chamber.
“The purpose of the control event is to assess the state of the organization for the development of innovations and technologies for the needs of defense in the conditions of martial law”, the message says.
Auditors should check whether the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Innovation Development Fund provided adequate support for Ukrainian technological developments and solutions identified by the state as a priority.
“It is expected that the results of the audit will provide an opportunity to provide recommendations on improving the activities of state bodies in the field of innovation development, in particular regarding the use of state funds for such purposes”, explained in the Accounting Chamber.
Specialists of the Department of Control (Audit) in the field of performance of national functions, digital transformation, management of state property and protection of the economy are involved in the inspection. The report based on the results is planned to be considered at the meeting of the Accounting Chamber in December.
