NATO showed a video of Ukrainian pilots training on F-16 fighters

Ukrainian technicians and pilots are trained in Denmark.

Ukraine recently received the first batch of American F-16 fighters. The NATO press service showed how Ukrainian pilots are trained on these modern aircraft in Denmark. There were unique training shots published on the official page of the Alliance on the X platform.

“F-16s have arrived in Ukraine. Watch how Danish instructors train Ukrainian pilots, technicians and ground personnel to pilot and maintain the fighters,” the post under the video reads.

One of the Ukrainian pilots shared his impressions, noting that training to pilot the F-16 is very interesting. Although the Soviet MiGs cannot be called “boring” either, the F-16 turned out to be much more agile and easier to control.

“You just think about something, he responds immediately. I feel proud not only of myself, but of the rest of the guys, that we are doing this now. I know how much work has been done to have this opportunity.”– added the pilot.

The pilot also emphasized that the biggest motivation during training is the desire to go back and continue to fly these fighters, protecting his country.

Major General of the Danish Air Force, Jan Dam, said that the F-16s have been upgraded several times.

“Now this is a very modern aircraft, comparable to the best Western fighters. And I am sure that the Air Force of Ukraine will benefit from them.” – he noted.

The general also added that Denmark undeniably supports Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and will try to do everything possible to help in the fight against Russian aggression. “We strive to ensure that Ukrainian pilots and technicians have the best conditions for training and using the F-16,” he emphasized.
