On the night of December 24, Russian troops launched a series of airstrikes on Zaporizhia. According to information from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhia region, four people were injured: women aged 35, 66 and 75, as well as a 46-year-old man.
Garages and cars were set on fire in the city, houses, vehicles, administrative buildings, an educational institution and a fire station were damaged. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that at least 13 apartment buildings were destroyed as a result of the airstrikes.
Local authorities and rescue services continue to eliminate the consequences of the strikes and provide assistance to the victims.
