During December 20, the Russian army carried out 514 massive strikes on the territory of the Zaporizhia region, 24 settlements came under fire. As a result of the shelling, one person died, four more civilians were injured. This was reported on the morning of December 21 by the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, a man was mortally wounded in the city of Hulyaipole. Three more people were injured in the Polohivskyi district, and one person was injured in the Zaporizhia district.
Twelve air attacks were recorded on the settlements of Rozumivka, Voskresenka, Bilenke, Hulyaipole, Orikhiv, Ternuvaty, Verkhnya Tersa, Zaliznychne, and Preobrazhenka.
In addition, Russian troops used 298 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, mainly FPV drones. Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Tavriyske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Shcherbaki, Lukyanivske, Hulyaipole, Novoandreivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Zelene, Varvarivka, Solodke and Dobropillya were under attack.
The enemy also shelled individual territories five times with multiple launch rocket systems, in particular in the areas of Shcherbaki, Hulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka and Dobropillya. Artillery strikes were carried out 199 times on the settlements of Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Shcherbaki, Gulyaipole, Novoandreyevka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Zelene, Varvarivka, Solodke and Dobropillya.
The regional military administration reported receiving thirty-three applications for damage to residential buildings, vehicles and civilian infrastructure.
