Polish prosecutor’s office investigates attempt by Russian agents to send explosive packages to Ukraine
In Poland, prosecutors have opened an investigation into Russian intelligence activities after attempts were discovered to send parcels containing explosive and incendiary materials to Ukraine. This is reported by RMF24.
In Poland, Danylo G. was detained in connection with the case, and in Romania, two Ukrainian citizens who collaborated with him were detained. The investigation revealed that Danylo G. acted together with other individuals, carrying out tasks assigned by Russian special services. On October 17, the Warsaw District Court ruled to detain him for three months. In Romania, the court also ruled to detain the detained citizens for 30 days.
The spokesman for the coordinator of Polish special services, Jacek Dobrzynski, reported that in recent months, employees of the Internal Security Agency have already detained 55 people who acted against the interests of Poland and in favor of Russian intelligence.
