Poroshenko not allowed to travel abroad to attend Spanish People’s Party congress and conference in Rome

People’s deputy of Ukraine, leader of the “European Solidarity” party, Petro Poroshenko, was denied permission to travel abroad, which made it impossible for him to participate in the congress of the Spanish People’s Party in Madrid and the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, which is to be held in Rome on July 10-11. About this reported on the official website of the political force.

Poroshenko received an invitation to the event in Madrid from the head of the People’s Party of Spain, Alberto Nuñezo Feijo, one of the candidates for the post of prime minister of this country.

“In a week we will have a conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Rome. I have a personal invitation from the speaker of the Italian parliament”, the politician said during a trip to Chernivtsi.

Poroshenko also announced the weakening of communication with EU countries and emphasized the importance of internal unity and active international parliamentary diplomacy.

“And then we will have a real opportunity to force Putin to stop firing.” – he is convinced.

The appellate instance confirmed the decision of the Vinnytsia District Administrative Court, which found Poroshenko’s refusal to travel abroad illegal.

“The Seventh Appeals Administrative Court rejected the appeal of the 6th Volyn Border Detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Military Unit 9971, and the decision of the Vinnytsia District Administrative Court of March 20, 2025 remained unchanged. Therefore, the officials of the Border Service violated the law.”, – lawyer Ihor Golovan noted.
