“Ukrzaliznytsia” together with taxi services Uklon and Bolt organized assistance for passengers who arrive in large cities at night and are forced to get home during curfew, the UZ press service reported.
The carrier initiated cooperation with taxi services after receiving permission to work at night in Kyiv. This allows passengers to safely reach their destination even in the event of train delays due to shelling or route changes.
Uklon provides a discount on night trips from the capital’s train stations. To do this, you need to install the Ukrzaliznytsia and Uklon applications, get a promo code in the “Railway Offers” section for 1 “hug” and activate it in the service application. The promo code is valid from 23:15 to 05:00 and can be used only once per night.
Bolt, in turn, increases the number of cars near stations in case of train delays and keeps travel prices down. In addition, there is a 24-hour Bolt & Visa with a 50% discount on trips to and from train stations, and railway employees received separate promotional codes for business trips.
“The initiative is aimed at increasing passenger safety at night and ensuring the ability to get home after late train arrivals”, – noted in Ukrzaliznytsia.
