Poultry exports from Ukraine in 2024 reached 410.9 thousand tons

Ukraine demonstrates growth in the export of poultry meat to foreign markets, which is confirmed by the data of the State Customs Service (SSC). In the period from January to November 2024, the supply of poultry meat increased to 410.9 thousand tons, which brought a profit of 880.37 million US dollars. For comparison, during the same period in 2023, exports amounted to 388.65 thousand tons worth 734.23 million dollars.
For summaries in 2023, Ukraine exported 424,575 thousand tons of poultry meat, earning $799,554 million, which is more than in 2022, when exports amounted to 413,197 thousand tons worth $852,882 million. However, these indicators are slightly lower than the results of 2021, when Ukraine exported 456,059 thousand tons of poultry meat worth 716,415 million dollars.
An important factor for exporters is the extension by the European Union of the regime of liberal trade with Ukraine for the period from June 2024 to June 2025. However, poultry meat was included in the list of “sensitive goods” for the EU, which means the regulation of possible supply volumes. According to the established rules, Ukraine can export the average volume of products, calculated on the basis of deliveries in 2023, 2022 and the second half of 2021.
These changes in trade conditions, export growth and market stability create a favorable basis for the further development of the Ukrainian poultry industry.
