Private medicine in numbers: who earns the most in Ukraine

In the healthcare sector, big money is increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few strong players: the combined revenue of ten private companies included in the Opendatabot Index 2026 reached UAH 17.91 billion, which is 23% more than a year earlier.

The most telling thing is that the market continues to strengthen long-familiar leaders: the top three have not changed for the third year in a row, while the remaining participants are either trying to catch up or are losing ground against the backdrop of tougher competition.

In fact, we are talking about a market where the stability of the top is combined with high dynamics within the top ten. Nine companies increased their revenues, all of them without exception turned a profit, and the biggest jump was shown by a new participant in the rating – Biofarma Plasma.

The first line of the rating was again taken by the Medical Center Dobrobut-Polyclinic, which received UAH 4.23 billion in revenue at the end of the year. This means that almost every fourth hryvnia of the total revenue of the entire top ten fell to this company. Over the year, Dobrobut added 27% and at the same time showed the largest profit among all participants — UAH 533.43 million. Such a result is important not only as an indicator of scale, but also as a demonstration that the largest players are able to convert volume into real financial effect.

In second place remained the network of laboratories DILA with revenue of UAH 3.58 billion. Over the year, the company added 30%, and its profit increased to UAH 155.3 million. This is a particularly indicative dynamics for the laboratory segment, because it has long become one of the most aggressive in terms of competition, expansion of presence and struggle for the client. Even more impressive is the third place of Sinevo Ukraine: the company increased its revenue to UAH 3.27 billion, that is, by 39%, and at the same time went from losses to a profit of UAH 216.92 million. If we add Sinevo Skhid to this, which earned UAH 906.5 million, then the two structures of the same network together gave UAH 4.18 billion in revenue – almost as much as the leader of the rating on its own.

Immediately behind the top three is Smartlab, which for the second year in a row remains among the largest players outside the top 3. The company increased its revenue by 28% – to UAH 1.49 billion, and brought its profit to UAH 34.5 million. This result is not as loud as that of the flagships of the rating, but it shows an important thing: there is a group of companies on the market that cannot yet match the top in scale, but have long gone beyond the boundaries of regional or niche influence.

Fifth place went to CSD LAB with revenue of UAH 1.16 billion, which is 35% more than a year earlier. However, there is an important nuance here, which well cools down an overly optimistic reading of the numbers: with rapid revenue growth, the company’s profit fell fourfold — to UAH 11.36 million.

Sixth in the ranking was Sinevo Skhid, whose revenue is UAH 906.5 million, and profit — UAH 142.93 million. Against this background, the fact that one network is represented in the rating by two separate companies at once, and together they collect a very significant share of the total revenue of the top ten, looks especially interesting.

The most high-profile newcomer to the rating was Biofarma Plazma, which immediately took seventh place and showed the fastest growth among all participants. The company’s revenue jumped by 45% — to UAH 891.6 million, and profit grew by 41% — to UAH 390.86 million. In such cases, it is important to look not only at the growth rate, but also at the quality of this breakthrough. Biofarma Plazma did it with a high level of profitability, which looks especially strong against the background of the large medical market.

However, not all participants in the top ten ended 2025 equally successfully. The most noticeable decline was the House of Medicine, which previously operated as part of the Odrex brand. The company fell to eighth place, and its revenue decreased by 24% – to UAH 839 million. The drop in profit looks even sharper: minus 44%, to UAH 73 million.

The ninth position was taken by the company Neomed 2007, known for the Mother and Child network. Here the picture is much more optimistic: revenue grew by 31% and reached UAH 821.77 million, and profit increased one and a half times – to UAH 55.35 million.

The top ten was closed by Medix-Ray International Group, better known as the Lisod clinic, with revenue of UAH 724.64 million. The growth here was the most modest among some of the participants — 10%, but profit rose by 38% and reached UAH 54.07 million.

So, the medical business in the private segment continues to become more expensive and more consolidated. Private medicine in Ukraine has finally turned into a big business with clearly defined centers of power, where a few companies reap the main financial harvest, and all the others either try to break into this group, or risk remaining in its shadow.
