Rocket attack on Kyiv: according to the latest data, 27 people died, 117 were injured (photo)

Rescuers found the boy's body during the night clearing of debris in the Shevchenkiv district of the city.

As of the morning of Tuesday, July 9, the number of victims of yesterday’s Russian missile attack increased to 117 people, 27 people died. This is stated in messages Kyiv City Military Administration in Telegram.

“As of this morning, 27 people were killed and 117 injured in Kyiv as a result of a rocket attack,” it said.

Serhii Popko, head of the KMVA added in Telegram that four children were among the dead.

The State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations (SES) reported in Telegram that the body of a boy was found during the night clearing of rubble in the Shevchenkiv district of the city.

“As a result of yesterday’s enemy attack on Kyiv, 27 people were killed, among them 4 children, 117 were injured, 7 people were rescued,” the State Emergency Service said in a statement.

According to the rescuers, the liquidation of the consequences is still ongoing at three locations. 377 rescuers and 76 units of emergency services were involved at the scene.

It should be noted that earlier KMVA reported that 27 people, including three children, were killed and 82 people were injured in Kyiv due to a Russian missile attack.
