Rubio said Zelensky should apologize for the “personal fiasco” at the White House

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should apologize for what he said turned a White House meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance into his “personal fiasco.” About this informs CNN.

Rubio also expressed doubts about Zelensky’s true desire for peace in Russia’s war against Ukraine.

“He (Zelensky) didn’t need to go there and become an antagonist. When you start talking about it aggressively – and the president makes deals, he’s made deals all his life – you’re not going to put people at the negotiating table. And so you start to think that maybe Zelensky doesn’t want a peace deal. He says he does, but maybe he doesn’t.” Rubio said.

We will remind that on February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi left the White House early after a quarrel with Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Later, Donald Trump said that Zelensky “insulted” the United States and was “not ready for peace.”
